Registered Dietitian, Contract 1099

• Hours per week: 10-20
• Required Availability: 10 hours

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Registered Dietitian with at least 1 year of acute care or commensurate experience
• Availability to work a minimum of 1 evening per week
• At least 2 state licenses are required before starting the position

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional, culturally competent, evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to a diverse patient population
• Utilize the Healthie electronic medical record system as per Culina Health Standard Operating Procedures, including documenting in the ADIME format
• Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments, including nutrition history, lifestyle history, stage of change, and barriers to change
• Utilize evidence-based nutrition interventions to guide patient education and care
• Collaborate with patients to create personalized SMART goals and strategies
• Provide patients with referrals to other providers as medically necessary and coordinate care as per the Culina Health Coordinated Care SOP where appropriate
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA
• Completing billing for patients as per Culina Health Standard Operating Procedures
• Voluntary participation in weekly Team Supervision meetings, bi-weekly Grand Rounds meetings, and monthly Town Hall meetings
• Participate in trainings and yearly performance reviews
• Promote the Culina Health core values
• Follow Culina Health’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures
• Maintain RD credential
• Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate has the following:

• Master’s Degree
• CDN, CD, LD and/or LDN. Special consideration is given to licenses in the following states: DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MD, NE, and VT.
• Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Excels at time management and exhibits superior organizational skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
• Provides and receives constructive feedback in a productive manner

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary: $55/hr; pay commensurate with experience

CPEU Opportunity: Ability to attend and receive CEUs at monthly Grand Rounds
