Role Overview:
Intramotev is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Operations Lead with at least 5 years of experience to own the flow of materials for our autonomous rail vehicles. This is a critical "full-lifecycle" role that bridges the gap between strategy and execution. We are not looking for a pure analyst, nor are we looking for a warehouse clerk; we need a lead capable of negotiating vendor agreements one hour and managing internal material flow on the factory floor the next. You will be responsible for the entire "Procure-to-Pay" process within our Odoo ERP system, ensuring our engineering and production teams have exactly what they need, when they need it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Procurement: Sourcing new vendors, negotiating pricing and terms, and managing long-term vendor agreements to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.
- Tactical Buying: Executing daily purchasing activities, including issuing Purchase Orders (POs), tracking shipments, and resolving delivery delays.
- Internal Material Management: Overseeing the physical flow of materials inside the factory, from receiving and quality inspection to inventory storage and line-side delivery.
- ERP Management: Acting as the primary owner of supply chain transactions within Odoo ERP; ensuring accurate data entry for inventory levels, bill of materials (BOM) costs, and vendor details.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working directly with Engineering to anticipate long-lead items and with Production to ensure inventory levels support build schedules.
- Process Improvement: Developing and documenting processes for inventory control (cycle counts, scrap tracking) and supplier performance evaluation.
Team Dynamics:
- Work within dynamic teams on diverse projects, typically ranging from small (1-2) to medium (3-6) members.
- Foster excellent interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Adapt to evolving project objectives and requirements.
- Engage in occasional domestic travel to support supplier engagement and integration activities.
Why Join Us?
- Career Growth: Develop your career with a forward-thinking company dedicated to transforming rail technology.
- Innovative Environment: Contribute to groundbreaking projects that bridge the past and future of rail transport.
- Impactful Work: Be a key player in creating solutions that promote a more sustainable and efficient rail network.
About You: Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management.
- Must have experience in a hybrid role: Demonstrated ability to handle both high-level procurement (negotiations/contracts) and physical material management (logistics/inventory).
- High proficiency with ERP systems (specifically Odoo, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) with the ability to troubleshoot transaction errors.
- Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise; ability to develop innovative and novel approaches.
- Open-minded and comfortable working in a teaming environment and as an individual contributor.
- Fluent in both written and verbal English.
- U.S. Person (immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Candidate should have a working knowledge of one or (ideally) multiple areas listed below:

- Background in scaling supply chain processes from a startup phase to full production.
- Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and engineering change requests.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
