About the team

As a Senior Program Manager, Agent Performance within Zillow’s Field Operations team, you’ll be part of a collaborative group focused on driving Zillow’s mission forward through performance-based innovation. This team is uniquely positioned at the intersection of product and business strategy, with deep partnerships across Product, Analytics, and Field Operations. We play a critical role in shaping the “Best Agents” strategy by evolving performance metrics, enabling Discovery-led experimentation, and scaling programs that directly influence how agents succeed and customers connect with the right partners.

About the role

This is an opportunity to grow your career as a Senior Program Manager, Agent Performance while helping shape the future of Zillow’s performance framework and experimentation model. You will serve as the dedicated execution arm of our agent performance and routing strategy—bringing structure, speed, and scalability to a set of high-impact initiatives. Your work will enable faster pilot launches, improved onboarding programs, and more efficient GTM execution. As a Senior Program Manager, Agent Performance, you’ll bring operational expertise, data fluency, and program management discipline to a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and measurable results.

You Will Get To

  • Translate strategic direction into scalable pilots, programs, and playbooks for agent performance.

  • Partner with Applied Science and Product teams to evolve performance and routing logic, connecting home buyers with the best agent for them.

  • Execute onboarding pilots (e.g., phased tier unlocks, milestone-based progression, targeted workflows) to accelerate agent ramp and success.

  • Own and evolve the monthly agent connection planning process, working with Engineering to automate and prepare for agent-level routing.

  • Drive Discovery-enabled experiments such as incentive pilots, onboarding iterations, or performance-tier pilots, ensuring tests are structured, coordinated, and yield actionable outcomes.

  • Support rollout of new performance metrics by translating complex logic into clear, agent-facing guidance and enablement materials.

  • Build the infrastructure (playbooks, GTM templates, fast-track processes) that institutionalize repeatable testing and scale experimentation across the business.

  • Collaborate across product, analytics, and field teams to ensure programs are aligned, impactful, and measurable.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $109,000.00 - $174,000.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $103,500.00 - $165,300.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • 7+ years of experience in program management, business operations, product operations, or related fields.

  • Strong data and analytical skills—comfortable using metrics and insights to inform execution.

  • Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and scale pilots and experiments with measurable impact.

  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives and delivering results in fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex processes and metrics for diverse audiences.

  • Comfortable managing both strategic and operational responsibilities, building scalable processes from the ground up.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with experimentation frameworks, incentive design, routing logic, or performance management.

  • Proficiency with SQL and/or Databricks to support opportunity sizing and pilot analysis.

  • Prior success building operational playbooks, GTM enablement materials, or scaling testing frameworks.

  • Background in agent or customer success models within marketplace or platform businesses.
