Job Description
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role is based in our Mountain View or Sunnyvale location.
We are looking for a Director of Workplace Change Management and PMO to join our team responsible to lead and operationalize our Relationship Workplace strategy across LinkedIn.
At its core, the Relationship Workplace represents a transformation of our traditional offices into dynamic, AI-first environments that accelerate execution and foster innovation. This strategy aligns with how our R&D organization is evolving into smaller, cross-functional pods of 4–8 employees operating like internal startups with clear deliverables and broad ownership. To help these pods fully leverage our new environments, we must guide them through a comprehensive change management program that include the following:

The pay range for this role is $161,000 to $262,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

- A clear understanding of the overall strategy and design intent
- Workflow optimization and behavioral change enablement
- Technology adoption and integration
- Optimal use cases across the different spaces, furniture, and technology solutions
Responsibilities:
The Director of Workplace Change Management & PMO will oversee and have accountability for the following:
PMO Execution Excellence
- Analyzes and recommends innovative delivery options utilizing best practices and trends, influences the development and implementation of all organizational procedures and standards, and ensures they are followed by all team members and vendors.
- Leads team members in identifying and providing recommendations to initiative/project teams that mitigate risk.
- Manages the delivery of programs and projects across multiple teams (e.g., new construction and/or retrofits) by making decisions related to area of expertise in partnership with the local program/project team and key stakeholders.
- Champions team and program/project goals, ensures adherence to business processes, develops vendor relationships when/where applicable, and fosters positive cross-group collaboration efforts in alignment with the program/project strategy and milestones.
- Oversees the team's deployment of large-scale and/or regionally based delivery solutions.
- Sets goals for internal and external initiative/project teams under their purview of responsibility, delegates responsibilities, measures performance against contracted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and seeks and delivers feedback to achieve timely results.
- Develops, manages, and reports on the scope, schedule, and budget of the projects.
- Oversees and implements project controls in work activities (e.g., project expenditure requests (PERs), Professional Service Requests (PSRs), change orders, and pay applications).
- Leads the team's accountability for on-schedule delivery of multiple projects by ensuring initiative/project progress reports are provided.
- Engages, advises, and collaborates with other internal teams (e.g., Legal, Risk Management, Data Analytics) to maintain the corporate vision and create goals for the initiatives/programs/projects.
- Attends and advises on complex problems during scheduled owner/architect/contractor and other initiative/program/project meetings.
- Oversees the management of vendors, ensuring compliance with contracts and prior audit results.
- Manages the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Project Expenditure Requests (PERs), and other project approval tools and templates.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in a related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, Architecture, Technology, Design, or related field
- 8+ years of senior leadership experience managing large cross-functional programs or enterprise transformations
- 6+ years of experience leading multi-year change portfolios not just individual projects
- 6+ years leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, including ownership of enterprise PMOs, transformation programs, or strategic portfolios with material business impact.
- Master's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration (MBA), Business, Organizational Psychology, Project Management, or related field
- 12+ years in project/program management or a directly related field.
- Professional license in area of expertise (e.g., Prosci/ACMP, PMP/PgMP, Design Thinking, Lean Six Sigma, interior design).

The pay range for this role is $161,000 to $262,000.
