Project Overview:
Join a growing community of professionals advancing the next wave of AI. As an AI Trainer, you’ll play a hands-on role by analyzing and providing feedback on data to improve LLM performance, helping ensure that the next generation of AI technology is accurate and trustworthy.
We are seeking a large cohort of skilled and experienced Generalist AI Trainers to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position — you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.
Location: U.S.-based experts only
Engagement: Part-time, project-based expert evaluation work
Work Type: Remote
Project Summary: Evaluate AI-generated content, compare model responses, provide written feedback, and apply evaluation guidelines to support AI model improvement initiatives.
This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time. Consultants control their own schedule, provide their own tools, and may simultaneously provide services to other vendors/employers (subject to those vendors’ allowances).
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate AI-generated responses using defined quality criteria
- Compare multiple responses and identify the strongest output
- Provide concise written rationales supporting evaluation decisions
- Review content for accuracy, clarity, helpfulness, and instruction adherence
- Apply project guidelines consistently across tasks
- Identify factual errors, reasoning issues, and quality concerns
- Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
- Complete assigned project training and calibration activities

- Accurate and consistent AI response evaluations
- High-quality written feedback and justifications
- Reliable adherence to project guidelines and quality standards
- Timely completion of assigned evaluation tasks
- Identification of content quality issues that support model improvement
Qualifications:
- Must be based in the United States
- Strong written English communication skills
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable evaluating written content and documenting decisions
- Experience in AI training, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, research, writing, or related fields preferred but not required
- Familiarity with generative AI tools is a plus
