We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position — you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.

Project Summary: CareerBench evaluates how effectively AI systems provide career guidance across professional occupations. We are seeking experienced Graphic Designers to evaluate AI-generated career guidance related to creative careers, portfolio development, agency and in-house design roles, freelance practice, branding, visual communication, and career advancement within the design industry. Contributors will assess whether AI-generated recommendations accurately reflect the realities of professional design careers and evolving industry expectations.

This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time. Consultants control their own schedule, provide their own tools, and may simultaneously provide services to other vendors/employers (subject to those vendors’ allowances).

Responsibilities

Contributors will:

• Create benchmark answers for graphic design career questions
• Develop evaluation rubrics for assessing AI-generated career guidance
• Review recommendations related to portfolio development and career positioning
• Evaluate guidance concerning agency, freelance, in-house, and creative leadership career paths
• Assess recommendations involving design specializations, skill development, and professional growth
• Identify unrealistic, outdated, or inaccurate career advice
• Provide written rationale supporting evaluation outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional graphic design experience
• Experience working in agency, in-house, freelance, or consulting environments
• Strong portfolio demonstrating professional design work
• Familiarity with career progression and specialization within design fields
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to evaluate professional guidance objectively and consistently
