Project Overview:

Join a growing community of professionals advancing the next wave of AI. As an AI Trainer, you’ll play a hands-on role by analyzing and providing feedback on data to improve LLM performance, helping ensure that the next generation of AI technology is accurate and trustworthy.

We are seeking a skilled healthcare and health sciences professional to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position — you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.

Location: U.S.-based experts only

Engagement: Part-time, 1099 project-based expert evaluation work

Work Type: Remote

Project Summary:

This project focuses on improving AI systems' understanding of medicine, healthcare, public health, and health-related information. Contributors will use their professional expertise to evaluate, analyze, and create high-quality content across topics such as medical knowledge, conditions and symptoms, medications and treatments (general informational context), anatomy, clinical and scientific research, nutrition, healthy lifestyle topics, healthcare operations, healthcare program planning, and healthcare compliance.

The work requires strong subject matter expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to assess the accuracy, completeness, and quality of AI-generated content. Contributors will help ensure that AI systems produce responses that are informative, evidence-based, and aligned with accepted healthcare knowledge.

Consultant Engagement Terms:

This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time. Consultants control their own schedule, provide their own tools, and may simultaneously provide services to other vendors/employers (subject to those vendors’ allowances).

Responsibilities:

Contributors will:

  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, completeness, and quality
  • Review content related to medicine, healthcare, public health, nutrition, anatomy, and clinical research
  • Identify inaccuracies, unsupported claims, omissions, or reasoning flaws
  • Compare alternative responses and determine which best reflects accepted healthcare knowledge
  • Provide written justifications and feedback based on professional expertise
  • Assess healthcare operations, program planning, compliance, and population health scenarios
  • Apply evidence-based reasoning when reviewing medical and health-related information
  • Follow project guidelines for quality, consistency, and safety

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a healthcare, medical, public health, life sciences, nutrition, pharmacy, nursing, healthcare administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in healthcare, medicine, public health, health research, healthcare operations, or a related domain
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based healthcare information
  • Ability to evaluate health and medical content objectively and accurately
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to explain reasoning clearly and concisely

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree (MD, DO, RN, NP, PA, PharmD, MPH, PhD, DrPH, MS, RD/RDN, DPT, or equivalent)
  • Experience in clinical research, public health, healthcare analytics, quality improvement, healthcare consulting, or health policy
  • Experience reviewing scientific literature or clinical guidelines
  • Prior experience with AI evaluation, content review, annotation, peer review, or expert assessment projects
