The Role
Overview This is a hands-on player/coach role that supports Corporate IT and Security operations, with a strong focus on BPO tech support and people management in India. You will be responsible for day-to-day technical work (~80%) while also providing light-touch managerial oversight (~20%) for Security & IT personnel in India across both Security and IT teams.
You’ll be the go-to for resolving tickets from internal users and frontline BPO support, covering endpoint troubleshooting, access issues, and system outages across global sites. Your responsibilities include SLA adherence, identifying systemic issues, and driving operational improvements that boost availability and productivity.
You’ll collaborate closely with Security, Engineering, and Ops leadership to maintain stable, secure, and scalable systems tailored to high-volume BPO environments. You’ll own documentation and automation efforts, enforce global security standards, and ensure consistent operational practices across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across macOS and Windows endpoints
Manage identity and access workflows using Okta, Azure AD, and MDM platforms (Jamf, Intune)
Partner with Security and Engineering teams to roll out new tools and secure-by-default configurations
Own Tier 1–2 escalations, resolve end-user issues, and identify recurring problems for long-term fixes
Maintain IT documentation, update runbooks, and contribute to knowledge base articles
Track, respond to, and close tickets in the IT/BPO queue with clear communication and proper documentation
Enforce security, privacy, and compliance policies related to access management, encryption, and software controls
Participate in BCP/DR planning and support endpoint readiness across global teams
Deliver technical updates and process changes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
You Bring
3+ years of hands-on IT experience, ideally in a high-growth or security-driven environment
Experience supporting macOS and Windows devices in an enterprise setting
Strong understanding of Okta, Azure AD, Intune, and Jamf
Working knowledge of MDM, SSO, MFA, and endpoint hardening best practices
Solid troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across systems, software, and network layers
Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and escalate appropriately
Clear, concise communication skills with users, stakeholders, and technical teams
Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform) and scripting is a plus
Strong documentation habits and attention to operational detail
Location & Hours
This role is based in Bengaluru, India and will require periodic coordination with global teams in other time zones.This role is based in India.
Working Hours: Candidates are expected to be available and actively working until at least 12:00 PM ET / 9:30 PM IST to ensure effective collaboration across global teams.
