About the Role:
We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented super-tutor to join our team. This full-time position involves a combination of administrative duties and tutoring at least 10 hours per week. Both roles require a strong knowledge of Mathematics (grades 6-12, including advanced topics such as Algebra) and ELA.
As an In-Person Tutor and Customer Success Support, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Student Success Manager and School Success Manager with different tasks.
Tutoring (10+ Hours/Week)
-Deliver high-quality, in-person tutoring sessions in Math (grades 6–12) and ELA, with a focus on building understanding and confidence.
-Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs, including advanced topics such as Algebra I & Reading/Writing skills.
- Track and report student progress using provided tools and templates.
- Provide feedback to students and support their academic and personal growth.
Customer Success & Administrative Support
-Support the Student Success Manager and School Success Manager with daily operational and student management tasks.
-Assist in coordinating schedules, monitoring student attendance, and ensuring session alignment with student needs.
- Help organize and maintain student data, including diagnostics, ILPs (Individual Learning Plans), attendance logs, and progress reports.
- Communicate with tutors to gather updates and support their day-to-day needs.
- Collaborate on resolving issues quickly (e.g., tech difficulties, student absences, session coordination).
- Join or help facilitate meetings with school staff or tutors as needed.
- Participate in quality control tasks (e.g., reviewing tutor notes, verifying curriculum usage, and flagging concerns).
Internal Communication & Collaboration
- Maintain clear and timely communication with internal teams via Slack, email, and check-ins.
- Flag risks or areas for improvement in student performance or tutor engagement.
- Assist with organizing and executing student engagement or incentive initiatives.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong Program Knowledge: Deep understanding of educational content and goals.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
- Effective Communication: Clearly convey information and instructions to tutors, students, and the team.
- Motivational Skills: Inspire and engage both tutors and students to excel in their roles.
- Problem-Solving: Handle challenges with creative and efficient solutions.
- Assessment and Feedback: Regularly evaluate student progress and tutor performance, offering actionable feedback.
- Management and Coordination: Organize schedules, resources, and processes to keep programs running smoothly.

- Google Workspace Proficiency: Expertise in Google Workspace tools, including Slides, Spreadsheets, and other relevant technologies.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with troubleshooting basic technical issues and guiding users through digital tools.
Requirements:
- Experience in tutoring or education.
- Ideal candidate will be a college student with 8am-5pm availability.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, remote setting and maintain clear communication.
- A passion for helping students achieve academic growth and confidence.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a virtual environment.

- Complete availability from 8 am to 5 pm CT Time (1 hour lunch) Monday to Friday.
