We build AI for the specialty insurance industry, one of the biggest markets in the world, still running on email and spreadsheets. We think that's a once in a generation opportunity, and we're building a billion dollar company on top of it.
The role
You'll report directly to our Head of Product and own a product end to end, including its P&L. Not influence it. Own it. If the numbers are good, that's you. If they're bad, that's also you. You'll work on an agentic AI product embedded in one of the largest industries out there, with real ownership and real accountability, not a seat in meetings.
How we work
We're hackers. We find ways to solve hard problems. We work with intensity, respect, honesty, kindness. That matters when you're working this hard. But this is not a job for everyone. It's demanding, uncertain, and intense. If you want to live the race of a high growth startup, aiming to build something big, this might be the best decision you ever make.
What you'll do
- You decide what gets built and what doesn't, with incomplete information.
- You prototype. If you need to write code to test an idea, you write it.
- You talk to customers, look at the numbers, and change direction when the data says so, even if it kills something you loved.
- You travel to San Francisco, Mexico, Miami, Panama, Puerto Rico, London, and wherever else we need to go to build the best product in our category.
What we're looking for
- You've worked at startups. You know what it feels like when nothing is defined and everything is on fire, and you like it.
- You're independent. Nobody will tell you what to do every morning.
- You're comfortable owning a P&L. Revenue, costs, margins, you can read them and you feel responsible for them.
- You can get technical. You don't need to be an engineer, but you can build a prototype and you're not afraid of code.
- You make decisions. You'd rather make a call and be wrong than wait for someone to decide for you.
