About Theo Ai

Theo Ai builds the tools that are changing how litigation actually gets done. We work shoulder-to-shoulder with the attorneys who use our products — people who expect precision, speed, and judgment — and we hold ourselves to that same bar. Our two legal AI product lines turn the messy reality of legal work into something faster and sharper, so that lawyers can spend their time on strategy and outcomes instead of grunt work.

We’re a small, highly collaborative team where everyone has meaningful ownership, works closely with customers, and helps shape the product. We value curiosity, initiative, thoughtful communication, and people who aren't afraid to raise their hand, challenge ideas, and solve hard problems together.

The Role

You'll partner closely with the legal teams already using Theo AI, helping them get maximum value from our products while serving as their trusted advisor. You'll understand how litigators work, guide customers through adoption, identify opportunities for growth, and bring customer insights back to Product to influence what we build next.

This role sits at the intersection of law, customer success, and product. You'll own customer relationships while serving as the voice of the customer, helping shape our product through the insights you bring back from the field. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Legal Ops, and Go-to-Market, you'll have significant ownership from day one and the opportunity to influence both the customer experience and the future of our products. You'll report to the Head of Legal Product.

Success in this role isn't about checking in with customers, it's about understanding how litigators work, building trusted relationships, and helping shape products that solve their biggest challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a portfolio of existing enterprise legal accounts — you’re accountable for keeping them, renewing them, and growing them.
  • Partner directly with legal teams to understand litigation workflows, guide product adoption, and leverage your litigation background to help customers connect Theo AI to real case strategy and trial preparation.
  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships across new users, practice groups, matters, and products while ensuring customers continue to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Run renewals end to end, including the commercial scoping and contract conversations, with leadership alongside you.
  • Build trusted relationships with attorneys, legal operations professionals, and executive stakeholders, becoming their go-to advisor for maximizing the value of Theo AI.
  • Lead account reviews and success planning, monitoring customer health and proactively addressing risks before they become churn.
  • Translate customer feedback, workflow challenges, usage insights, and emerging legal trends into actionable recommendations that influence our product roadmap.

What You’ll Bring

You come from the world of law and are energized by helping other lawyers work in smarter ways. You’re as comfortable building a relationship as you are talking through a workflow.

  • J.D., LLM, or equivalent law degree (LLB or equivalent international qualification).
  • Practical litigation experience with familiarity across legal research, discovery, case strategy, and trial preparation.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, legal consulting, solutions engineering, legal operations, another customer-facing role supporting enterprise customers.
  • Track record of growing customer relationships through renewals, expansion, and long-term partnership.
  • Passion for improving how legal work gets done through technology, with the curiosity and adaptability to continuously learn.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to synthesize complex legal concepts for both legal and technical audiences.
  • A collaborative, ownership-oriented mindset – you proactively identify problems, raise your hand, and drive work forward.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in legal tech, AI/ML, or enterprise SaaS.
  • A working feel for AI/ML and natural language processing in legal work.
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms (Westlaw, Lexis, PACER, court filing systems).
  • Comfort with CRM and customer-success tooling and with planning accounts around usage data.
  • Experience conducting customer discovery and partnering with Product or Engineering teams.
